Become a volunteer and help create one of Denmark’s most wonderful jazz festivals
Who we?
We are a wonderful mix of new and experienced jazz-loving volunteers, who every summer transform part of the harbor area and the Old Shipyard in Ærøskøbing into the Ærø Jazz Festival.
What do you do as a volunteer?
As a volunteer, you can help with practical tasks (setting up a tent and bar, picking up chairs and getting the stage ready), standing in the bar and checking wristbands at the entrance to the festival.
What do we expect from you?
👉 That you are at least 18 years old. 👉 That you are prepared to take different shifts for your bracelet. 👉 That you can pour a beer, put coffee over and handle a payment solution on an Ipad. 👉 That you can stand guard and check for wristbands at the entrance to the festival. 👉 That you are prepared to solve practical tasks on your shift if it is quiet in the bar. 👉 That you are service-minded and have a good mood 😊 👉 Last but not least, that you enjoy yourself while you are on duty, and ask if there is anything you are in doubt about 😊
What can you expect from us?
👉 That for 3 shifts you get free wristbands for the entire festival. 👉 That you get drinks during the shift. 👉 An info meeting the day before the festival, to equip you in the best possible way to be able to solve the tasks on the shift and meet the other volunteers. 👉 Coffee and cake fun during the festival with the other volunteers, to strengthen the social aspect across the group and give the opportunity to ask questions if there is anything that puzzles or teases. 👉 The sweetest and best volunteers you could wish to work with 😊
